AOC-Backed Group Pushes To “Abolish The Senate” – They Want To Ram Through President Biden’s $3.5T Bill

 

The Biden administration has faced widespread criticism in recent months. Before the Afghanistan situation, Washington was abuzz with the controversial infrastructure bill.

The $3.5 trillion legislation encountered plenty of backlash and naysayers, including Republicans who say the bill is just a “progressive wish list.” But Democrat leaders remain confident that it will pass.

And one far-left group will do anything to make it pass — even if it means taking a drastic step.

Recently, some D.C. politicos have expressed concern over the bill. This even includes some Democrats, like Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who has been against the proposal since the beginning.

He recently penned an op-ed that slammed his leftist colleagues for believing there’s “an infinite supply of money” in the country.

Manchin also warned of an “overheating economy” that has hit middle-class America with a huge “inflation tax.” Manchin isn’t the only economist to have these concerns, either.

However, that isn’t stopping far-left organizations like the Sunrise Movement.

A group aligned with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, they took to Twitter in response to Manchin’s article. And what they wrote is raising eyebrows across the nation.

It seems like a dramatic step to take, just to push a bill through.

But by now, it seems clear that some far-left groups and politicians are willing to do whatever is necessary to get their agenda passed. This is a big reason why Republicans and moderates are pushing back.

As for Ocasio-Cortez, she’s one of several Democrat leaders that have called for an end to the filibuster. She even went so far as to accuse Sen. Manchin of “killing people.”

Abolishing a major federal institution just because it might not do what you want is dangerously close to tyranny and authoritarianism, according to many stunned citizens who read that statement.

Right-wing voters have called out these vastly more extreme ideas and tactics by the left, many of which seem unrealistic and utterly illogical.

And if we’ve reached the point where they’re willing to tear down the entire government so they can spread their agenda — then that’s cause for serious concern.
