Generals Blow Biden’s Claim Out Of The Water – Under Oath, Milley And McKenzie Say They Told The President To Leave Troops

 

What’s Happening:

Today, Congress is grilling Biden’s top Pentagon leaders over the disaster that was his Afghanistan withdrawal. Americans are well aware that Biden failed to keep the foreign ally safe. In a matter of weeks, he sat back and let the Taliban take over the country.

Yet Biden continues to maintain it was the right thing to do—that even his generals agreed.

Congressional leaders are demanding answers from our top brass. They want to hear from them directly what happened—and what led to the collapse of the democratic government of Afghanistan. And these generals blow Biden’s claim, throwing Sleepy Joe under the bus.

Ouch. Even partisan hack Gen. Milley is blasted Joe Biden over Afghanistan. Gen. McKenzie, who was the Commander of U.S. Central Command, explained that he told Biden they needed troops in Afghanistan. In 2020, he recommended around 4,000 troops. This year, he said the minimum was 2,500.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff also claimed that was his recommendation to Biden as well. And McKenzie further confirmed that Joe Biden was thoroughly informed of this advice and “understood” what they were saying.

Yet Biden rejected what they recommended and pulled all our troops. What. An. Imbecile.

There has been plenty of argument over our ongoing presence in Afghanistan. After all, many Americans wanted our troops out after 20 years. But most military experts agreed that we needed at least a small force to prevent the Taliban’s return.

Perhaps 2,500 troops would have been a small price to pay, to ensure Afghanistan stayed out of enemy hands. Maybe now most Americans will agree to that. Regardless, Biden ignored the advice of seasoned generals to hastily pull our troops. That lead to an evacuation crisis, the death of 13 American service members, and the resurgence of the Taliban.

Will Biden finally cop to his failures, now? Will he admit he lied to the public and ignored the advice of his generals?

I won’t hold my breath waiting.
