Now, a fellow lawmaker, this time in the Senate, is chiming in. Sen. Scott is going as far as to invoke the 25^th. From The Daily Wire:

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) floated the idea of removing President Joe Biden from office Monday after Afghanistan fell to a Taliban onslaught during the U.S. pullout of the country…

“After the disastrous events in Afghanistan, we must confront a serious question: Is Joe Biden capable of discharging the duties of his office or has time come to exercise the provisions of the 25th Amendment?”

Sen. Rick Scott noted the many disasters brought on by the Biden administration. He listed inflation, the rising national debt, and the fall of Afghanistan.

He said we as a country need to “confront a serious question” in deciding if Biden should be removed from office.

The 25^th Amendment provides a way for Congress to pass legislation to remove a president from office.

But it takes the cooperation of not just Congress, but the White House itself.

That requires cooperation from the administration. While it does not seem that Biden or his staff would cooperate, that could change.

If public pressure moves Congress to pass legislation, then it’s possible the administration will yield.

It hasn’t even been a year with Joe in office and this is how bad things have gotten. The border is out of control, the economy is flagging, and Biden’s failed in Afghanistan.

If Congress doesn’t act, I promise you the people will act come 2022.
