Former President Barack Obama’s Afghanistan Ambassador James Cunningham said in regards to the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that “this tragedy was completely preventable,” during a segment on CBSN with Tanya Rivero on 8/16/2021.

House of Representatives staff members received a package containing 45 Trump Gold Dollars and a note on which it was written “AMERICA WILL NEVER BE A SOCIALIST COUNTRY!”.

While the identity of the sender has not been revealed, it is clear that Ocasio-Cortez did not enjoy her gift.

Of course, such a gift would trigger any socialist!

Obama’s Afghanistan ambassador, James Cunningham, said that the tragedy unfolding in Afghanistan was “completely preventable.”

This damning statement did not come from a Trump flag-waving Republican, but a former Obama ally.

As a former ambassador to the country, I’m thinking he knows a thing or two about what’s going on.

Yes, plenty of Americans wanted us to de-escalate our involvement in Afghanistan. But many experts and lawmakers warned Biden not to hastily withdraw.

Trump was planning an arrangement that would have ensured the Taliban would not attack. He planned to remove troops only if the Taliban remained peaceful.

But it seems the Taliban is in no way worried about Sleepy Joe. They basically walked into Kabul and made themselves kings.

Worse still, Biden pulled our troops without considering what to do about our civilians left on the ground.

And he abandoned vehicles and equipment. All of which the Taliban immediately stole.

Cunningham is not out of line to say this was preventable. For some reason, Biden rejected all warnings and made the worst move imaginable.

On top of that, he refuses to admit fault and does nothing to remedy the situation. While troops are being sent to help evacuate, the White House cannot promise everyone will get out alive.
