Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan (R) said that the process of arresting the rogue lawmakers “will begin in earnest immediately,” according to the Texas Tribune.

After winning a big case in the courts, Texas House Speaker Phelan issued 52 warrants against absent Democrats.

These lawmakers fled and remain in D.C., to avoid the state House from passing bills.

They specifically tried to block the passage of voter integrity bills. But they are also depriving the state of various important measures (related to education, families, and more).

It seems Texas Republicans are saying enough is enough. They are sending law enforcement to track down and arrest these Democrats.

While that might seem harsh, keep in mind this is entirely legal. State law allows the House to issue warrants for just this sort of occasion.

These Democrats won’t be charged with crimes or even fined. Police will simply take them to the House chamber, so they can do their job.

Make no mistake, these Democrats have been violating their oaths of office by refusing to work. They have pretended to be “victims,” after chartering a private jet to D.C.

This is just the latest temper tantrum Democrats have thrown since states started securing our elections.
